The MBM DestroyIt 2240 Cross Cut Shredder is an ideal system for deskside/personal
shredding use. The DestroyIt 2240 Cross Cut shredder features a photo cell
controlled automatic start and stop function, and a single multifunction switch
with pilot light for stand-by/stop/reverse. The Destroyit 2240 Cross Cut
shredder has hardened steel cutting shafts that will easily dispose of staples
and paper clips. The Destroyit 2240 Strip cut shredder comes equipped with a
quiet and powerful single phase motor and a fully enclosed, dust-proof gearbox
housing. It has a 5 gallon bin capacity and has double protection against
overheating. All Destroyit shredders have a 10 year warranty on strip cut and
cross cut shafts and wheels. All other parts have a 1 year warranty (excluding
wearables).
The Destroyit 2240CC cross cut paper shredder can shred up to 6 sheets of
standard 20 pound paper. Can shred paper with staples and paper clips. Has an
automatic start and stop with a multifuntion switch for standby, stop, and
reverse. Comes with a 5 gallon shred bin capacity. Has a convenient handle for
lifting the shred unit from the bin for easy removel of the shredded material.
