The Dahle 20834 EC Government Use Level 6 High Security Paper Shredder is a
powerful machine capable of reducing an 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper
into over 15,500 tiny particles. Government agencies require higher levels of
security from their paper shredders. With this in mind, the U.S. Department of
Defense has increased the requirements for the destruction of Top Secret COMSEC
documents. Dahle High Security Shredders are specifically designed to exceed the
standards set forth by the National Security Agency. The Dahle 20834 EC features
automatic operation and will automatically shut off when the shred compartment
is full.

Level 6 security applies for the destruction of
strictly confidential documents. With its 1/32" x 7/16" micro particle
cut, our model 20834 EC meets even those high demands. Besides a high waste
collection volume is guaranteed. For the ultimate in high security, the DAHLE
20834EC is an NSA/Department of Defense approved paper shredder that meets the
new NSA/CSS specification 02-01. The 20834EC paper shredder accepts up to 10
sheets of paper and shreds into 1mm x 4mm unreadable particles, and only
requires a 115 volt, 15 amp circuit . This model was designed specifically for
the military and other government agencies, as well as anyone in need of the
highest level of paper shredding security. The 20834EC features a powerful 2 H.P.
continuously rated motor. The 20834EC also features a wooden cabinet, user
friendly touch sensitive key pad, and audio/visual indicators detecting paper
jams and indicating the waste bag is full. The 20834EC has automatic start/stop
and automatic reverse in the event of a paper jam
