It operates as a complete, stand-alone, high-volume label maker, powered
either by the included AC adaptor or the included rechargeable battery pack. It

In stand-alone mode, the ergonomic notebook-style keyboard and large backlit

When connected to your PC or Mac via the included USB cable, you can use the

you can also print from your database and download database data or up to 100
label designs into its 8 MB of built-in flash RAM. You can also download logos,
clip art, and graphic files as new symbols.

The PT-9600's programmable function keys make it simple to access these
downloaded files in the field or on the plant floor and turn otherwise
time-consuming processes into more efficient "one-button" executions.
