Use it as a 1340-watt air conditioner with 12,000 BTUs of cooling power for staying comfortable in the summer, then in the winter switch over to its 1090-watt heater mode, which uses Heat Pump technology to deliver 12,200 BTUs of heating power. The user-friendly electronic control panel makes it easy to select the mode of operation, the ideal room temperature from 61 to 88 degrees F, and the fan speed--low, medium, or high. A handy remote control with batteries comes included, which allows for changing the settings from across the room. The unit can also function as an evaporative dehumidifier, removing up to 63 pints of moisture from the air a day to help maintain ideal comfort levels. Its Auto mode provides added convenience where the unit operates as a heater when the room temperature falls below 68 degrees F, as a dehumidifier when the room temperature sits between 68 and 73 degrees F, and as an air conditioner when the room temperature reaches above 73 degrees F. The compressor will automatically shut-off if the tank reaches capacity, and a "full" indicator will alert users to the need for emptying the tank.
