Making short work of postal tab application to mailpieces; the FD 260 Tabbing System uses advanced "crash tab" technology to give you the advantage in mailing or fulfillment services. Mail-ready pieces are produced by feeding the edge of mailpieces to contact an adhesive tab, traveling through a roller set where the tab is tightly folded and sealed. The FD 260 requires no skewing adjustment because of its short paper path. Productivity is increased due to the short edge of the paper feeding first, thus shortening the time taken for a mailpiece to feed through the machine. The FD 260 offers increased accuracy by folding the edges of the piece more tightly, reducing lateral drift. The FD 260 uses a variety of tab stocks including translucent, clear and both 1" and 1.5" paper sizes, with a built-in waste take-up spool to reduce down-time.

The built-in waste take-up spool reduces down-time. With the addition of the optional FD 260-10 Feeder, operators can input a stack of up to 8” of material to be tabbed. Adjustable side guides prevent document skewing.

The optional FD 260-20 Output Conveyor offers adjustable speed from 0 - 120 fpm, and stacks tabbed pieces in sequential order at the end for easy removal.
