It can print on the full line of standard TZ tapes--with the widest selection of colors and sizes--and Brother's industrial adhesive tapes. And it's designed for years of reliable, trouble-free operation.

It operates as a complete, stand-alone, high-volume label maker, powered either by the included AC adaptor or the included rechargeable battery pack. It also connects to your PC or Mac for even more capabilities.

In stand-alone mode, the ergonomic notebook-style keyboard and large backlit LCD make entering your text easy and comfortable. A wide variety of built-in fonts and type styles, plus built-in library of bar-code symbologies and industrial and commercial symbols, make this the most full-featured system Brother has ever made.

When connected to your PC or Mac via the included USB cable, you can use the PT-9600 like a printer and include custom graphics, any TrueType fonts, and have even greater control over the appearance of your labels. Using your computer, you can also print from your database and download database data or up to 100 label designs into its 8 MB of built-in flash RAM. You can also download logos, clip art, and graphic files as new symbols.
